It is with great pleasure that Somerset County Cricket Club can today announce a new partnership with sportswear brand BLK.
The three-year deal will see BLK become the Club’s Official Kit Supplier, meaning that the company will be the exclusive provider of playing and training kit to SCCC.
BLK offers cutting edge apparel which is creatively designed and reflects a genuine understanding and respect of their client’s heritage and goals. Each item is carefully conceived, designed and produced with athlete input.
BLK are dedicated to providing high quality, innovative and comfortable apparel that players and fans will want to wear. They have a proven record of delivering quality equipment and apparel for teams and individual athletes across various sporting disciplines.
In recent years BLK have enjoyed excellent working relationships with Cricket Australia, New Zealand Rugby League, Samoa Rugby Union, Melbourne Rebels Rugby Union, London Irish Rugby Union and Toronto Wolfpack Rugby League.
After signing the agreement SCCC Commercial Sales Director, Suzanne Roper said: “We are really excited by this partnership. BLK are an exceptional brand and from our dealings with them already it is clear that they take enormous pride in what they do.
“The shirt designs that we have received from Peloton Design for next season look incredible and the players are all really impressed by the final product. What has been great is that BLK have been keen to work closely with the players on the specifications of the new shirts to ensure that all their requirements are met.
“BLK have done a great job with this season’s playing kit and training wear, and I’m sure that they will be popular with our Members and supporters.”
Jason Lax, BLK Managing Director said: “Somerset County Cricket Club are a globally recognised brand known for their professionalism and performance and as such are the perfect partner for BLK. We are excited to be their exclusive kit supplier for the 2020 season and beyond.”
The new playing shirts will be unveiled this month, and they will be available to pre-order in the SCCC Shop for delivery in the New Year.
The SCCC Shop is Somerset County Cricket Club’s Official Merchandise Store and will be selling the Official SCCC 2020 season playing shirts. The outlet will also be the exclusive SCCC Training Wear Range stockist.
Somerset County Sports, which is located in front of the Somerset Cricket Museum, will also be stocking the 2020 playing shirts plus a wide range of cricket equipment and clothing.
