BLK and Manu Samoa have today revealed their 2019 Rugby World Cup Home and Alternate Jerseys, which will be worn at the global rugby event this September in Japan.
As a RWC fan favourite, the Jerseys which features traditional Samoan art returns to its classic royal blue for the Home Jersey and a clean white for the alternate.
Featuring the latest clean cut BLK collar the Jerseys proudly display the text TAUTUA MO SAMOA on its back neck loosely translating to “Serving Samoa’’, a timely reminder of the enormous faith that is placed in the players from the island nation.
Samoa has qualified for every Rugby World Cup since the second edition, in 1991, but have failed to navigate the pool stage since the turn of the century. A clear remit from the team and the nation says this time will be different.
